As the saying goes “Promises are like babies, quite easy to make but hard to deliver”. But in our case it was different as we inevitably fore-saw the total success of this months (June, 2011) edition of CLIMAX NIGHT way earlier. We gave you hints of what to expect because we were made sure, with the backing of extremely entertaining and exciting memories from its previous editions. Well we weren’t dissapointed as usual.
The PHCityMusic.com crew arrived By 10pm to meet Illusions Night Club jam packed with ladies and gents who had already bought their tickets, waiting for the start of unending entertainment made available by Grafton Entertainment and silverbirds rhythm 93.7 at the CLIMAX NIGHT. The dance crews were already in position. Then came the judges to the venue. We were shocked to see Muma Gee seated as one of the three judges to the dance competition.
The event kicked off hilariously with MC AB and Prince Hezekiah as MC’s. Then came a spectacular perfomance from Paulino (Qualified Doctor) as he left the club quaking from the feel of his irresistable vibes. Thought we had heard the loudest roar from the crowd until Gbenga Olowo hopped on stage taking the crowd hostage with his popular tunes as he had them screaming in a singing-along. We later saw spectacular dance moves from the various dance crews. Inshort the dance competition was one of the best parts of the event as the emerged winners went home with a cash prize of fifty thousand naira.
