Here’s the new kid on the block we just spotted. He goes by C.I Newton on stages and he’s one of those rare gems with unique singing abilities in the nigerian music industry. Glad we found him.
I would like to use this opportunity to introduce you to a promising and talented music producer and singer. he is original and will definitely catch your attention with his unique voice and singing style.
Currently pomoting a single (NII FM) from his upcoming EP,where he sings about overcoming challenges and difficulties on his way to achieving a goal, CI NEWTON who has been compared to the likes of Asa, bez, and Akon comes across as a poet delivering well thought out lyrics in a bid to ignite the fire within listeners and encourage them to pursue their dreams and make them reality.

so he’s a portharcourt artist? i’ve had this song on my phone for sometime now,i got it from a friend. i think its a nice song, very different from what we usually hear on radio especially from PH ARTISTS. Good guys are hardly ever talked about so BIG UPS to PHCITYMUSIC.COM for spotting him! Pls is this the only song he has? You guys are trailblazers!!
Way to go CINewton. Fire on…greater years ahead. Wonderful song and thought provoking lyrics
@dex; true, really thought provoking lyrics,@serene;true,good guys are hardly ever talked about and yes, its very different from what we hear on radio but do you know why? its because here in PH,there are not very many good artistes. I still believe Lagos artistes are way better than PH artistes! So thanks PHcitymusic.com for spotting this new kid on the block, and showcasing the other true musicians (there are a couple of them, cant remember their names – some rappers featured sometime last year or early this year) on your site, but pls PH artistes should stop all this their boring”party songs” and sing GOOD music!!!
just because the entertainment industry is more vibrant in lagos {sponsors, endorsement deals – because these companys headquarters are in lagos} doesnt mean their artists are better than ph singers! its like sayin that there are better actors/actresses in lagos than in ph because the industry is mainly centered in lagos or there are “funnier” comedians in lagos because the industry is based there! Must i remind you that these “lagos” people once lived outside lagos,so does it mean that if a musician just travels to lagos, all of a sudden he becomes a better rapper?….,lets learn to support our own! lets promote our industry in PH!!!
before i forget, nice song bro!!! congrats! i like your song! its really unique,my only problem is when i search for your Facebook page,it shows “the page you requested wasn’t found”…..
