Where Are They Now? 5 Port Harcourt Artistes Who Fell Off

2. M-Trill:

Teria Yarhere is another Port Harcourt bred artist who performed under the name M Trill (stylised as M-Trill or M.Trill). He released his debut studio album Number One under Grafton records in 2008 along with a follow-up mixtape entitled Ladies and Gentlemen (2010). That same year, he won the “Best West African Act” at the Channel O Music Video Awards for his single “Bounce.

But he definitely had a couple of tracks that had people nodding. We still remember “Where You Dey” featuring Lenny B (Formerly of the indispensables). Ehen! “Beautiful” too. Anyone other one? Oh, yes! yes!! Remember his mind blowing verses on “Trilla”? Well, after those successful turns, his star dimmed a bit, he released a few tracks under the radar though, but didn’t have the desired effect. Guess he repented and diversified into some other kinds of businesses, because his twitter bio currently reads “Award winning rapper,lyricist,mc/entertainment entrepreneur/leader/visionary/M 4 mogul/Jesus Lover…hence d crown on my head/a couple more steps 2 legend..yep”.

We sincerely miss having him on the scene. Please find, persuade and bring him back.
